Anne Stine first developed her affinity for the outdoors as a child where she considered her true home to be the cathedral of trees across the street from her Virginian home. It was there that she first experienced the majesty of nature that would become the foundation of her contemporary mixed media paintings.

Anne graduated from Virginia Tech with a BA in Communications and minor in Art and continued studies in painting at Corcoran School of Art, Washington D.C. She came to the art scene later in her life after a successful career in arts marketing, raising a family, and owning a commercial decorative painting business for ten years. In 2016, she devoted herself full time to painting and teaching from her home studio in Purcellville, VA.
Her work hangs throughout Virginia in juried shows, art galleries and commercial and personal collections. Anne is an active promoter of the arts and the small business community as a member of the Loudoun Arts Council and Loudoun County Artisan Trail. She writes a blog centered around inspiring others to pursue their dreams and live a creative life. Anne lives in Purcellville, Virginia with her husband and three children.
